Recorded on 4 track early 90's in a freezing cold toilet of a rehearsal room above an Laser Quest Arcade by the two band members themselves. This ferocious yet canorous two piece originally had this track released later as a one sided single via DIG THE FUZZ Records. These recordings were a kinda back lash against the whole emerging Brit Pop / the cliquey neo 60's scene and over produced recording techniques / technology at the time. 250 vinyl copies were pressed in the UK only.
The single was lauded by MAXIMUM ROCK 'N' ROLL magazine (U.S.A.) and was in their top ten singles of the issue it was featured in. Funny thing was we never knew how they got hold of a copy?
LOOK OUT FOR .For the first time ever we have dug out the proposed B side which remained un ping ponged on four track for a few years and didn't make it in time for the cut. Please view our other releases for SMASHED BLOCKED Late Night Flight ( Proposed but Unreleased B side to "Lift Up Your Skirt And Fly" )
Also there is a whole batch of unreleased material, including a whole live set which we hope to bring to you via Band Camp in the future. For the moment lift up whatever you can drop em and fly!
